new logo for the upcoming 2008-09 hockey
season.
This Wolf Cub logo will be put on the jerseys
and apparel
(t-shirts & toques) next season. |

Valley wish the St. Michael's Majors all the best
in their upcoming 2008 1st playoffs in Mississauga
The St. Michael's Majors have been a great supporter
of our association in this their inaugural year
in Mississauga. The Hershey is the home rink of
the Credit Valley hockey association which we share
with the St. Michael's Majors OHL hockey team.
Feb. 22nd was Credit Valley Association Night with
the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors vs. the Niagara
Ice Dogs. Credit Valley sold 600 tickets of which
1/2 were Wolf Cub players. The Wolf Cub Leafs team
were well represented with 100 tickets sold. This
Wolf Cubs Leafs team had Bryce Sutherland skate
the opening ceremony (31 tickets).
Liam Ecclestone (28 tickets) Wolf Cub Leafs and
Andrew Hrinco (21 tickets) Wolf Cub Canadiens won
the St. Mike's team autographed sticks for individuals
with most tickets sold. Thanks go out to Casper
Stabile (who organized this event) and his Minor
Midget Red team who had the 2nd highest team total
of 87 tickets sold and ran the 50/50 draw. This
Minor Midget team won the post game skate and a
St. Mikes autographed team jersey.
The St. Michael's Majors came out to do a puck drop
for our Wolf Cubs 1st playoff game on Mar. 9th.
We also ran a March break hockey school with the
help of St. Mike's players (Justin Larson, Zac Rinaldo,
Cameron Gaunce and Chris Carrozzi) and the Maniac
on March 13th.

Children's Fitness Tax Reciepts
The Government of
Canada proposes to allow, starting in 2007, a non-refundable
tax credit on eligible amount of up to $500 paid
by parents to register a child in an eligible program
of physical activity. Registration in the MHL qualifies
within the parameters set out in this program. Tax
credits will be provided for registrations of the
2007-08 season. Tax credits for any monies paid
for registrations in 2006 do not qualify for this
credit under the regulations of this program...
